A second homepage works just like the original homepage, meaning you can design it, add widgets, configure announcements, and embed content such as iframes.
What does the second homepage do?
A second homepage functions the same way as the existing homepage in your group. You can use it to create an additional landing page for different purposes, such as:
- Sharing separate content for different audiences
- Creating a dedicated information page
- Displaying different widgets or announcements
- Embedding external content using iframes
- Organising content more clearly within the group
How to add a second homepage
Follow these steps to create a new homepage in a group:
- Open the relevant group.
- Click the Settings icon within the group.
- From the left-hand menu, click Tools.
- In the Dashboards section, click + New.
- Enter the name of the new homepage.
- Click Save.
Once saved, the new homepage will be created and added to the group.
After creating the homepage, you can assign an icon to it:
- Click the question mark icon next to the homepage name.
- Select or upload the icon you would like to use.
This helps make the homepage easier to identify in the group navigation.
What can you do with the new homepage?
The new homepage works in the same way as the first homepage. You can:
- Design the layout
- Add and configure widgets
- Post announcements
- Embed content using iframes
- Customise the page to suit your group’s needs
This allows you to create multiple homepage-style spaces within the same group.
