Custom Email Domain

Our Premium and Enterprise packages allow for the customisation of your email notifications to show your company's email domain.

To make your portal truly white label you have the ability to send emails from your own email address.

As standard, all email notifications that come from Clinked use the email address members@clinked.com email address.

Clinked offers two different ways to setup your Custom Email Domain:

Please note that you are only allowed to use one method.

How to setup Custom Email Domain with DNS Configuration?

This is using third-party software such as GoDaddy and Wix.

Step 1

  1. Navigate to the Account Settings.
  2. A left-hand menu will appear and please click on the item called ‘Custom Domain’. Then select ‘custom email domain’.
  3. Slide across the button to turn the feature on.
  4. A form will appear below.
  5. Choose 'DNS Configuration' from the tabs in this section

Step 2

Include the email that you are looking to have as the portal's notifications. Then 'Submit for verification'

Step 3

You will be asked to verify this information, at which point you log into your DNS Third-party software.

The type is always CNAME.

The host will differ based on the Custom Domain that you have.

The Value is always the same, please make sure there are three records, representing the follow information:

  • u23966203.wl204.sendgrid.net
  • s2.domainkey.u23966203.wl204.sendgrid.net
  • s1.domainkey.u23966203.wl204.sendgrid.net

Step 4

Go back to the portal and 'verify' this information.

If all is successful, a message will display saying the email is verified.
