# Databricks Integration

## The Databricks integration allows you to securely embed Databricks dashboards directly into your Clinked portal.

With the Databricks integration, you can bring your dashboards and data insights directly into Clinked, making it easier for your team and portal members to access important information in one central location.

This article explains how to configure the Databricks integration and embed dashboards into your group's Notes.

1. Log in to your Clinked portal.
2. Navigate to **Account Settings \> Integrations**.
3. Locate **Databricks** in the list of available integrations.
4. Enable the integration to begin the configuration process.

To establish the connection between Clinked and Databricks, you will need to enter the following credentials:

- **Instance URL:** Log in to your Databricks account and locate the URL in your browser's address bar. Copy the base URL of your Databricks instance, excluding any additional paths.
- **Workspace ID:** You can find your Workspace ID within Databricks, typically in the workspace information accessible from the top-right section of the interface.
- **Client ID:** This is the unique identifier (UUID) associated with your Databricks service principal. You can find it in the **Service Principal** settings.
- **Client Secret:** Generate a client secret for your service principal in Databricks. Please note that the secret will only be displayed once upon creation, so make sure to copy and store it securely.

Once you have entered all the required credentials, click **Save** to complete the configuration.

Once the integration has been configured successfully:

1. Navigate to the relevant **Group** within your Clinked portal.
2. Open the **Notes** section.
3. Click **Create Note** to create a new note.
4. Enter a title and any additional content you would like to include alongside your dashboard.
5. Within the Note editor, locate the **Insert** option in the toolbar.
6. Click **Insert** and select **Databricks** from the available options.

7. A list of available Databricks dashboards will appear.
8. Browse the list and select the dashboard you would like to embed.

9. The selected dashboard will be inserted into your note.

Once your dashboard has been embedded:

1. Click **Save** to publish your note.
2. Your embedded Databricks dashboard will now be available within the note for your group members to view.

Members with access to the group and note can open the note and view the embedded dashboard directly within your Clinked portal.
